Une nouvelle invention de Telescope par Monsieur Is. Newton, professeur {&}{et} mathématicien dans l'Université de Cambridge, qui fait l'effect des Telescopes ordinaires bien plus longuer, par refleschissant l'object d'un concave metallin à un miroir metallin, et delà par un petit verre microscopique, plano-convexe, à l'œil: representant l'object sans {contour} et bien distinctement en toutes ses parties.

Le premier Essai c'est fait dans un Tube de 7. pouces, lequel comparé avec un Tube ordinaire de {25} pouces, a representé l'object un tant plus grand, que la fig. A. C'est par {dessus} la fig. B. en le mesurant.
