My Lord Treasurer Commands me to t{illeg}|r|ansmit to you the inclosed peticon of Mr Oadham praying a Tryall as to his qualificacons for the place of Assay Master of the Mint, his Lordp is pleased to direct you to cause a Tryall to be made before you by him & the rest of the Peticoners for the said Office who have been Referr'd to You (if they desire it) And that you will then make your Report to his Lordp wch of them you conceive to be the most expert & fittest ꝑson for that Imploymt.
