Gentlemen

My Lord Treasurer Commands me to t{illeg}|r|ansmit to you the inclosed peticon of M^r Oadham praying a Tryall as to his qualificacons for the place of Assay Master of the Mint, his Lordp is pleased to direct you to cause a Tryall to be made before you by him & the rest of the Peticoners for the said Office who have been Referr'd to You (if they desire it) And that you will then make your Report to his Lordp w^ch of them you conceive to be the most expert & fittest ꝑson for that Imploym^t. I am &c^a 2^d April 1713
